Member Spotlight: Nate Lofton

Nate has assisted several business with their growth and development over the last 9 years. He currently serves as a PTAC Procurement Specialist with the Indiana Procurement Technical
Assistance Center (PTAC),
and agency with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC).Prior to joining the PTAC.  Prior to joining PTAC, Nate served as Business Development and Outreach Manger for the Indiana Department of Administration MWBE Division. Nate was also a member of the Diversity Roundtable, HUBs Coordinators and the Past President of the Crossroads of America Chapter of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals. Other professional organizations that he belongs to the Association of Procurement Technical Assistance Counselors (APTAC) and the National Contract Management Association (NCMA)
Nate is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity Incorporated, The Order of Omega; and a proud Life Member of both the Central State University Alumni Association and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Nate is also a proud veteran of the United States Army and National Guard, having served tours in Augsburg, Germany and Fort Bragg, NC., and Oak Ridge, TN. Nate received his bachelor’s degree in Music from Central State University (Ohio), a Master’s Certificate in Public Personnel Administration and his Master’s degree in Public Administration at Indiana State University.

Minorities in Hospitality (MiH) was established in 1998 and since then has provided an advocacy forum for minorities within the hospitality industry.
