Hospitality, Tourism and Conference Management professionals who are committed to the philosophy and mission of MiH are eligible for membership
A voting member of MiH is defined as the following: Any person who is in good standing, whose dues are current, and who complies with the provisions of the MiH Bylaws.

Planner
Any person that is involved with planning or implementation of meetings, events, conferences or conventions for a specific organization, corporation or association or any person involved with planning or implementation of meetings, events, conference or conventions as an independent contractor is eligible for membership as a Planner.
Student/Education/Government
Any person which is actively enrolled in a higher educational institution and pursuing a certification or degree in hospitality, tourism or conference management is eligible for Student Membership. Any person involved in teaching or an administrator at a college or university in the area of tourism or hospitality departments is eligible for Education Membership. Any government official that works with the tourism or hospitality industry is eligible for Goverment Membership. These memberships levels have a reduced cost.
Supplier
Any person that is affiliated with an organization providing facilities or services to planners and/or independent planners is eligible for membership as a Supplier. Supplier organizations may include hotels, caterers, convention bureaus, convention centers, travel services, transportation companies, audio visual service companies and restaurants.
Other
This category is reserved for Friends of MiH, retirees of the industry, honorary members and lifetime achievement members. These members must be voted on by the board of directors and presented to the body.
